Principal's Corner
Hello Dragon Families,
We are filled with gratitude and optimism as the school year draws to a close. Thank you for the support, partnership, and care that have helped our students grow this year. We are grateful for another year of shared success in expanding our TK program to include a full-year of qualified students, new flooring in the MPR, improved facilities with newer lighting and expansions in heating, and air conditioning. Our school continues to grow as we have a projected enrollment of over 480 students next year.
As we accelerate toward the last day of school, please join us for these joyful events:
Spring Carnival, May 15: Bring friends and family for a fun day supporting our school. Enjoy activities, and please consider buying or selling raffle tickets to help raise funds.
Open House, May 19: Come explore classrooms, meet teachers, and celebrate the learning and progress students have made. We look forward to welcoming families and sharing this special time together.
5th Grade Promotion Ceremony, May 27 at 1:00 PM: We invite 5th grade families and staff to honor our graduates as they prepare for the next step in their education. We are proud of their achievements and the memories they’ve made here.
Thank you once again for being part of our caring, energetic school community. We look forward to celebrating these events with you and ending the year on a positive, hopeful note. Your volunteerism has and will continue to make a difference!

Carnival News
The DeLaveaga Spring Carnival is FREE to attend, but wristbands and punch cards must be purchased to enjoy games and attractions. (Please note: food is sold separately.)
Wristband Passes are $15 during pre-sales and they are for unlimited play of games. The price goes up to $17 if purchased at the carnival.
Punch Card Passes available in increments of $5 (equal to 10 game tokens) or $10 (equal to 20 game tokens PLUS 2 bonus tokens!). Using a punch card, most carnival games each cost $.50 (1 token) or $1 (2 tokens).
Skip the line at Carnival and purchase your Game Pass in front of the school! Here are the dates:
Tuesday, May 12 - 8:00am - 8:40am
Tuesday, May 12 - 2:15pm - 2:45pm
Wednesday, May 13 - 8:00am - 8:40am
Wednesday, May 13 - 12:15pm - 12:45pm
