Hello DeLa families! Here are some PTC Updates for you:
August 22 - Pledge Drive Begins
August 22 - Back to School Night, 5:30pm
August 24 - First PTC Meeting of the year, UPDATED TIME: 7:00pm. We will be on Zoom (Meeting ID 880 6359 2777) & In-Person (Library)
ANNUAL PLEDGE DRIVE IS UNDERWAY!
DeLaveaga Elementary receives limited funding from the state. Your contribution enables the school to pay for the staff, supplies and enrichment programs that support every DeLaveaga Elementary student in becoming a life-long learner who is prepared for the future.
Our Dragons and DeLaveaga community would be grateful forany donation you can make for our biggest fundraiser of the year - no pledge is too big or too small.
We are asking for a donation of $250 per child. Additional funds are appreciated as not every family can donate. Make a donation today atdonorbox.org.
There are multiple ways to contribute:
Donate at donorbox.org. You will be directed to options including credit card, Paypal, or bank transfer. You can set up one-time or monthly donations. Search for your employer to add a matching contribution.
Provide a check made payable to the DeLaveaga PTC. You can give it to your child to turn in to their teacher in the attached envelope, drop it off at the school office or mail it to 1145 Morrissey Blvd, Santa Cruz, CA 95065.
Secure a matching donation from your employer. You can complete this through Donorbox at the link above.
Ask a grandparent or family member to contribute.
This year's pledge drive runs from August 22 through September 15. See the attachments below for more information on the fundraiser. Please help us meet our goal!
The DeLaveaga Parent Teacher Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for your donation. Our federal tax identification number is 91-2144793.

Our first meeting will be August 24, 7:00pm on Zoom and In-person (DeLa Library). We will be voting in our President and Vice President this meeting.

Drive for Schools Assistant
This Fundraiser operates yearly in September/October. Our current Lead, Mary Lieby, will be finishing our her time at DeLaveaga this year. She is looking for someone to assist her with the intention of carrying this on in the following years. Please contact Mary if you're interested.
